On 29 April 2025, the Media Job Fair - 2025 took place. It was organised by the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, the Public Foundation for Support and Development of National Mass Media, and the National Media Association.

Representatives from over 30 organisations participated in the event as potential employers. Among them were private and state media outlets, press services of ministries and departments, as well as the corporate sector. Specialists noted that the modern media environment is rapidly changing under the influence of new technologies, innovative methods of information transmission, and the development of online platforms. This requires adaptability and creativity from market participants.

In this regard, job fairs in the media sphere are gaining particular significance, providing an opportunity to establish contact with key industry players, assess current directions of development, and discuss employment prospects directly with those who are creating new standards and trends. This relevant platform is also designed to help find promising new employees: the industry is experiencing an urgent need for an influx of talented, energetic professionals with modern perspectives and original solutions.

The fair featured a series of presentations by leading media outlets of the republic, masterclasses from current professionals in the field, and discussions on pressing issues in the media sphere: from methods of implementing ideas to the specifics of covering particular topics. The focus was also on such discourses as the role of research in preparing journalistic materials and the use of artificial intelligence, including what opportunities and challenges this modern trend brings.
