Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mass Media Foundation Saida Mirziyoyeva and Director of the Foundation Nozima Davletova met with Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs Elizabeth Kennedy Trudeau.

The guest got acquainted with the activities of the Fund and ongoing projects. At the meeting, the parties discussed the fight against disinformation, the need to build the capacity of journalists and bloggers and increase media literacy among young people and children. Particular attention was paid to gender issues and measures taken in Uzbekistan to protect the rights and freedoms of women.

As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to work out the issue of joint cooperation.
