Today, the Mass Media Foundation hosted a meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Nozima Davletova and its director Akramjon Fozilov, with the Deputy EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mindaugas Kacherauskis and attaché of the Representation for Political Affairs Tom Yue.

Today, the Mass Media Foundation hosted a meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Nozima Davletova and its director Akramjon Fozilov, with the Deputy EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mindaugas Kacherauskis and attaché of the Representation for Political Affairs Tom Yue.

The parties exchanged information on ongoing projects. EU representatives expressed their interest in supporting the activities of the Foundation aimed at improving media literacy and professional competence of journalists, as well as addressing issues in the field of gender equality in Uzbekistan. They also invited the leadership of the Fund to take part in the discussion “On the state of freedom of speech in Central Asia”, which will be held in Uzbekistan in the near future with the participation of representatives of the countries of the Central Asian region.
