Mass Media Foundation with Sharoit Plus Conducted Training on Ethical Reporting About Persons with Disabilities

On April 9-10, the Mass Media Foundation together with NGO "SHAROIT PLUS" organized a comprehensive two-day training session for journalists and bloggers, bringing together media professionals. The intensive workshop delved deep into the critical aspects of disability reporting, providing participants with in-depth insights into appropriate terminology, communication strategies, and the importance of challenging existing societal stereotypes about people with disabilities.

Training on Responsible Reporting of Gender-Based Violence Cases Held in Tashkent Region

On December 24–25, court press secretaries and media representatives gathered in the Tashkent region for a two-day training workshop on responsible reporting of court cases involving gender-based violence. Organised with the support of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan, USAID, the East-West Management Institute, AIMC, and the Mass Media Foundation, the event aimed to enhance professional skills and foster collaboration between the judiciary, media, and civil society.

The event was organised by the Mass Media Foundation in collaboration with the country office of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) in Uzbekistan and the Republican AIDS Center.
